Scenius — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Scenius AI ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Scenius application ("App"). Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to protecting it.

2. Information

2.1 Account information

• Authentication tokens from Sign in with Apple
• A user identifier from Sign in with Apple
• Email address (as provided by Apple; may be a private relay address)
• Name (only if you choose to share it at sign-in)
• Account creation date
• Balance of purchased in-app credits
• If you use the App in guest mode, none of the above is collected; your data remains local to your device until you sign in.

2.2 Usage data

• App feature usage statistics
• AI generation request frequency
• Performance metrics
• Error logs
• Device information (model, OS version)

2.3 User content

• Artwork, animations and generated media (images and video clips) are stored locally on your device
• Images and prompts are temporarily processed on our servers and by third-party AI model providers during AI generation
• No permanent storage of your artwork or content on our servers

2.4 Support requests

• When you use our Support page, we collect your reply email, request category and message
• You may optionally provide your name and Scenius app version
• Support requests are private and are not posted publicly

3. How we use your information

3.1 Account management

• To authenticate your identity
• To maintain your account and credit balance
• To process in-app purchases
• To provide customer support

• To analyze app performance
• To improve our AI generation features

4. Data storage and security

4.1 Local storage

• Your artwork is stored exclusively on your device
• You are responsible for backing up your device data
• We cannot recover lost artwork from deleted or reset devices

4.2 Server processing

• Images and prompts are temporarily processed on our secure servers and by third-party AI model providers during AI generation
• All server communications are encrypted using industry-standard protocols
• Processed inputs and generated media are deleted from our servers after being returned to your device

4.3 Security measures

• Industry-standard security protocols
• Regular security updates
• Encrypted data transmission
• Secure server infrastructure

4.4 Support request retention

Support requests are stored privately in a dedicated support database on Cloudflare infrastructure. Each request is marked to expire 180 days after submission; expired entries are removed during subsequent support activity or routine maintenance.

5. Data sharing and third parties

5.1 Third-party services

• Apple App Store — for in-app purchases (credit packs and subscriptions)
• Apple — for Sign in with Apple authentication
• Cloud infrastructure providers — for delivering AI processing
• Third-party AI model providers — including models from providers such as Google, ByteDance and OpenAI — which temporarily process your prompts and input images to generate your requested images or video clips
• Subscription and purchase management providers — to manage entitlements and credit balances

5.2 Legal requirements

We may share information if required by law:

• In response to legal requests
• To protect our rights and safety
• To investigate fraud
• To comply with court orders

6. Your rights and choices

6.1 Account control

• View your account information
• Delete your account and associated data
• Request a copy of your data

6.2 Account deletion

When you delete your account:

• All account information is permanently deleted
• Unused credits are forfeited
• Local artwork remains on your device
• Server logs are automatically purged after 30 days

7. Children's privacy

• The App is not intended for children under 18
• We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18
• Parents can contact us to delete any inadvertently collected data

8. Data protection rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access your personal data

9. California privacy rights
